22 is A follow up from my first tape "21Love". The theme and title are set in stone. This tape represents my experiences I obtained from being 22. Not all is shared. But whats there. Is there. With this tape you will hear me go though my nostalgia stage, my passion stage, an my "I shouldnt do this stage" I hope you enjoy. An thank you. I appreciate you.
This has been a longtime coming for my fam, Ryan Keyes. A self-taught producer since the age of 12, Keyes rarely kept beats for himself, until now. This 19-track freshman mixtape is entirely self-produced, and has features from: Benji, BoBo, DB, Richie Reeves and K. Burns.
Even if his sound isn't your flavor, I was a first hand witness of his work ethic. As he says in the intro:
"...I promise I'm next, maybe right now, maybe next year, maybe five years; anytime but I promise I'm next..."
and its hard to deny the fact Keyes has something special.

Ryan Keyes, an artist from my hometown of Battle Creek, MI, started making beats at age 12. His debut mixtape "NeverSleep" will be dropping May 4th, and is entirely self produced by Keyes. He decided to let loose an EP to give everyone a taste of his upcoming project: "NeverSleep"
Giavanni Ruffin, a former ECU Running back, has become a YouTube sensation of sorts after putting out his "How Bad Do You Want It" Video. He recently put out a documentary explaining his cause and goals titled "My Ambition". Additionally, Ruffin started his own clothing brand called TNDO Apparel. TNDO stands for Take No Days Off, and it's something Giavanni preaches throughout this documentary. In anything you do, take no days off! I'd like to personally welcome ya'll back with quite possibly one of the best concept mixtapes in the last 5 years.
Mickey Factz had been in the lab for nearly a year before he hit the web with Mickey MauSe. MauSe is Factz's alter ego, a graffiti writer residing in the 1980s. This tape follows MauSe through the 80's and discusses topics such as crack-cocaine and AIDS. Additionally, MauSe sits down and chops it up with fellow artists such as: Keith Haring, Jean-Michael Basquiat, Kenny Scarf, Fab Five Freddy and finally Andy Warhol.
The entire tape was self produced by Factz and features Dangermouse and Deadmau5 sampling. It's an incredibly dope concept, and turned me from a naysayer to a believer. Cop the tape after the jump!
